Bobby Curtis Parsons

Bobby C. Parsons, age 83, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Hospice of Hamilton.  Bobby was born in Elliott County, Kentucky, the son of the late Vencil and Ollie (Porter) Parsons. He was a United States Navy veteran.  Bobby was a high school teacher for many years at Hughes High School in Cincinnati and after retiring became a substitute teacher for many years at Butler Tech in Hamilton.
 

Bobby is survived by his wife, Paulette (Helton) Parsons whom he wed in 1986.  They celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on May 7, 2019.  Surviving are three children:  Rose (Anthony) Labiosa, Linda (Tracy) May, Daniel (Robbyn) Riddell, and a niece whom Bobby considered his daughter, Emily McArthur of Mason, four grandchildren James Fowler of Tampa Fla., Kasandra Fowler of Tampa Fla., Tanner May of El Salvador and Katie May of New Zealand, and great-granddaughter Mariah Fowler of Tampa, Fla., one brother: Don (Tong) Parsons of Tennessee; 3 sisters: Della (Dewey) Barker) of Shelby, Dorothy (Elwood) Flannery and June Parsons of Grayson, KY, and brother-in-law Tom Helton.  Bobby also had many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.  In addition to his parents

Bobby was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie (Sylvia) Parsons and Ralph (Hazel) Parsons as well as a sister Thelma McDavid.  
 

Family and friends are welcome to a Celebration of Life Memorial for Bobby on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Vineyard Cincinnati Chapel (not the main church) 11340 Century Circle East, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246 from 10:00 – Noon. Reception to follow for friends and family.
