SPRADLING
Buddy “Joe” – age 85 of Fairfield Township passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017.  He was born September 21, 1932 in Kelat, KY to the late Oscar and Helen (nee Dennis) Spradling. On July 23, 1956 he married  Mary Ellen Knox in Cynthiana, KY.  He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ellen; loving son Marvin (Dana) Spradling; grandchildren Taylor (Katie) Spradling and Victoria Spradling; brother Glen (Betty) Spradling and sister Phyliss (Stan) Horn.  He is also survived by numerous family and friends.  Joe is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, Max & Francis Spradling. Joe was a veteran of the US Army, actively serving July, 1954 – June, 1956 and inactively through 1962.  Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5-7PM, with services following at 7:00 at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014.  Graveside services will be held Saturday at Pythian Grove Cemetery in Berry, KY.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.  Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
