Dearest Dean, Nathaniel, Beth, Ben and Nick,
I'm still in shock over the passing of this dear man. My heart goes out to all of you. We know Pete is healed and no longer in pain, but I know the separation for you is so very hard to bear. I love you and pray for peace within your hearts. I will miss him......until we meet again. With much love, Diane

Dean and family, I am deeply saddened to learn of Pete's passing. He was always so sweet to talk to, such a joyful presence around High Street and the Mission. Praying for the Holy Spirit to bring you all peace during this difficult time. He will be missed down here, and I hope you can find comfort in knowing you'll see him again.

Dean, I truly know the pain you are going through. Life keeps going on and you want it to stop for at least a day and recognize someone special has died and needs to be acknowledged yet people continue on going to work, shopping, etc. I have no clue how people deal with death if they are not a Christian. Pete will be reunited with you in Heaven and you have the best church to help you through the pain. I am so sorry for your loss but happy that we are all Christians with a promise for the future. I am sending hugs and will add you to my prayer list. ❤️Delana

Dean, please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Heaven is sounding sweeter. Thank you both for being such kind neighbors to Mom and Dad through the years. Our hope is in Him and we are so thankful that this life is only temporary. Soon and very soon we will be reunited with those we hold dear. God bless.

Dear Dean and family, May the comfort of the Holy Spirit be with you at this time of Pete's passing. He isn't dead, he is alive forevermore. We think so often of Mom enjoying Heaven's beauty and being in the presence of our Savior and I know Pete is as well. You and Pete were such good neighbors to Mom and Dad and often John and I got to be there when Pete had stopped in for a moment and he always shared his joy in following Jesus and leading others to know Him. Pete departed on what would have been Mom's 91st birthday. Love, Juanita and John

Aunt Dean and Nathaniel,
You are in my thoughts prayers during this hard time. Uncle Pete will really be missed by many. I can't help but smile thinking of him, he was such an original person. He was always ready to go eat somewhere, especially the fish restaurants and always ready to help someone or fix something. The most outstanding thing in my memories of him though was the fact for as long as I can remember that everywhere we went, it didn't matter where he was witnessing for the Lord. What a wonderful example he set of doing the Lords work. It's nice to know and not wonder where he is. I will truly miss him! Love you all. Jenny & family.

God greatly blessed me when He brought Pete and Dean Moore into my life. Pete was a blessing to everyone he met and loved by many. Each day He severed the Lord with a grateful heart. I will miss him greatly, but thankful for the wonderful memories including Myrtle Beach, K&W, and Alcapulco. I rejoice that we will meet again!

Dean, Nathaniel and Beth, my heart aches for you with deepest sympathy. I am so thankful for these words, may they be an encouragement to you. "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" John11:25
