I hated hearing about this. I cherish the memories of all of us playing when we were kids. Summers were always fun when you, Connie, and Angie would come to visit. I can still see mamaws’ house so full of kids running and playing. I can hear all of us laughing and joking around. I moved around so much that I didn’t get to see y’all as much growing up. The last time I saw you was ‘ 93 when you saved the day by I think helping me change my tire on the entrance ramp or was to get a tire. But you came and helped me out. You were always a kind man Carl and I know you were a great father. I still can’t believe you and Aunt Gladys are gone. It doesn’t seem. But I know you and the rest of our family that has gone on before us, is in heaven and not suffering anymore pain. That y’all are up there having a great time rejoicing with each other and with Heavenly Father. Though I never told you this, I love you my sweet cousin.

So sorry to hear of Carl's illness and passing. He was always a cute kid! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, esp. with my friend, Gladys! Our little boys grew up together - my heart is broken for you. May God give you comfort and peace, knowing he is with his Savior and no longer suffering. Awaiting that day when we can unite with all our loved ones who have gone to glory before us! Love always!! Barb & Johnny - and our kids - Heather, Sean, Tina and Shelley.

We will defenitly miss our friend! Between camping, shooting pool, playing cards, trips to the track even home improvement tasks..... Carl was always there.
