Catherine “Kay”, age 88, of Hamilton went to her eternal reward on June 10, 2018. She was born in Alfordsville, Indiana on March 6, 1930.
She is survived by 4 sons, Martin (Sandy Deceased), James (Vickie), Randy (Barb), Curt (Kathy); sisters, Rena Torres and Marie Hummel. Kay is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil; sisters, Audrey and Lucille; and sons, Cecil Jr., Vernon, Ralph and Chris.
Kay was employed by Mosler Inc, Elder Beerman, and Fort Hamilton Hospital, retiring in 1995. She was a member of West Side Baptist and Immanuel Baptist Churches. She was mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt Kay and friend to a great many people. Everyone who knew her has fond memories of “Kay”.
Visitation will be held at Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, 45014 on Thursday June 14, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral is at 11 a.m. on Friday June 15, 2018 at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1770 Eaton Rd., 45013 Pastor Mike Botts officiating.
