David G. Ostendorf

Our Beloved David Ostendorf 56, passed away on Saturday August 26. He is survived by his proud wife Becca (nee Stewart) Ostendorf.; Father Richard; Sister Margaret Meeks (nee Ostendorf); and Brothers Chris (Debbie) and Rick (Rose).

Dave was born to Richard and Christine Ostendorf (nee Petroff) on June 21, 1961 in Cincinnati, the longest day of the year. This was significant to Dave because he loved being outdoors in the summer working on the house and doing yard work.

Dave prospered in his career working in the Maintenance field. He took every opportunity to further his education and hone his skills by taking classes and obtaining many certifications. Fixing things came naturally to him and if he did not know something he would Google it.

Dave was very generous with his time, skills, and laughter. He would drop what he was doing to help anyone. He was a very kind and good-hearted person who enjoyed life. Dave has touched so many lives in his short time on earth. He is now in Heaven with God helping him with any repairs he may need.

A gathering of family and friends is Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH   45014.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's name to Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash.
