Joan Marie, age 82, of Fairfield passed away on April 25, 2017 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on May 5, 1934 in Deer Park, to the late Edward and Vivian Walters. Joan was a Realtor for over 25 years; during her career she worked for Durbin Realty, West Shell, and Huff Realty. She also worked at General Electric as a secretary.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years Fredrick E. “Fred” Willsey: devoted children, Michael (Cathey Pritchard) Willsey , Chris (Gregg) Bruewer, and Ken E. Willsey; grandchildren, Derek Willsey, Ryan (Courtney) Fontaine, Andy Fontaine, Alayna (Terrell Cummings) Fontaine, Kayla Fontaine, and Bryan Willsey; great grandchildren, Garrett, Cayden, and Crosley.

She is also survived by her sisters in law, Marge Willsey Finley and Mary Haygood; dear friends, Ken and Vickie Fightmaster, Joe and Gracie Goebel, Jim and Ann Jewart, and Delbert and Lucy Apple; many wonderful neighbors; and her beloved dog, Carly. Joan is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Edward Walters, and brother in law, Bill Willsey.

The family would like to thank, Hospice of Hamilton for the support and devotion they demonstrated to Joan and the family while she was in their care.

Visitation will be Thursday April 27, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
