LaJuana "Wannie" (Robinson) Brooks

LaJuana (nee Robinson) – age 64 of Hamilton passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017.  She was born June 20, 1953 in Hamilton to Lester Robinson and Lobeda Garrett (nee Maupin).  LaJuana was raised in Ross by her loving parents Jack and Anna Disney.  On March 19, 1980 she married her husband Bruce E. Brooks.  LaJuana was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Hamilton.  She is survived by her husband Bruce; her mother Lobeda Garrett; children Robert Brooks, Jackie Venable, Sueann Brooks and Cheryl Thompson; brothers Jeff (Terry) Disney, William Disney, Lester (Doreen) Robinson and sisters Robin (Ron) DaSilva, Elizabeth (Nawfal) El Bensaidi, Martha Jenkins, Patsy Glidden, Melissa Bowling, Debra (Tom) Roark and her sister she shared a special bond with Juanita “Nedie” Bowling; grandchildren Ryan, Chelsea, Jake, Emma, Isabella, Aleece, McKenna, Brittany, Jaden, Matthew, Courtney, Paris, Paula, Caitlin, Olivia and 8 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. Sister-in-laws Bonnie and Barbara Brooks.  She is preceded in death by her fathers Jack Disney and Lester Robinson and mother Anna Disney; sisters Toni Robinson, Leslie LaCroix and Sherri Garett; brother Darryl Garrett, brother-in-laws Ed Jenkins, Bud Glidden and mother-in-law Margaret Brooks.  Visitation will be held Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 11AM until time of service (1PM) at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014.  Pastor Sonny Hurd officiating.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the UC Health Barrett Cancer Center.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
