My sweet, caring, loving, amazing friend I am so heartbroken that you have been taken away from all who love you so much. My heart breaks for Eric, Jack, Mitchell, and your entire family. Echoing the sentiments of many who have posted before me, I will forever remember the kind spirit that Maria embodied. Intelligent, kind, warm, energetic, are words that come to mind when I think of her now - and will always. We had some great times, wonderful laughs, and many a late night talking about "What the heck are we going to do with our lives?" It pleases me to know she made some amazing choices and had the opportunity to share her life with such a wonderful loving family. Cheers, Maria. I'll be having a beer in your honor this evening.

Dear Melissa, The Logsdon Family and The Deprato Family,
I am so sad and sorry to hear of the loss of that special girl I knew as Maria Logsdon. What a fun, always happy and upbeat person. I am very angry at myself for not making a point of talking with her in her time of need-my apologies to her!
Her light will shine through her children-I am sure of it!
Regretfully, I can't make it to the funeral, but my sincere prayers go out to all of you.

Maria embodied the kind of unconditional love, acceptance, and kindness that most of us, the lucky ones, may only experience once in a lifetime. Her absence will be felt forever, but we're blessed for what little time we had with her. Rest easy now, beautiful Maria.

My heart goes out to all of you. I've never known anyone like Maria. Her big generous heart compares to no one. She was my rock when I lived in Cincinnati and worked at JC Penney with her and our pod people.
