Pauline Ann (Nesbitt) Andrews

Pauline Ann (nee Nesbitt) – age 88 of Findlay, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on November 21st, 2017.  She was born on October 18th, 1929 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, to the late Paul and Mary Nesbitt (nee Barler).  On October 21st, 1951, Pauline married John Gaylord Andrews, her husband of 66 years. Love of family and serving others described her life with Philippians 4:13 guiding her last year. Throughout her lifetime she worked as an attentive and compassionate nurse, providing care to many including countless students within the Findlay City Schools. Pauline was an incredible cook, warming the homes of her family and friends with her thoughtfully prepared meals. She loved to garden and travel and played cards better than most of us. She lived a life of service to her family, church, and community organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Christian Clearing House, and Findlay’s garden club, antique club and historical society.  John and Pauline were 50 year members of First Presbyterian of Findlay where Pauline served as Elder and Deacon.  Pauline was the eldest sibling in her family leading and attending 50 family consecutive reunions.  She is survived by her devoted husband John; her children Brooks Andrews, Rebecca (Daniel) Love and Jennifer (Robert) Nevins; sisters Nancy Richardson and Karen (David) Bartman; grandchildren Weston, Morgan (Sara), Ben, Abbey (Sarah), Anna, Christopher, Kenzi, Andrew John, Mary Kate and great-grandson Samuel Easton.  Her brother Donald Nesbitt preceded Pauline in death.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Springdale Nazarene Church, 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH, 45246 with Pastor Randy Reed officiating.  At a later date, a celebration gathering will be scheduled in Findlay for additional friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Hancock Christian Clearing House, 1800 N. Blanchard St. # 107, Findlay, OH, 45840 or the First Presbyterian Church, 2330 S.
