Richard Lee, age 83, of Fairfield, peacefully passed on Tuesday, December, 11, 2018. He was born June 20, 1935 in Nitro, WV. After graduating High School, he joined the Air Force, serving during the Korean Conflict, and many years later retired from Yellow Freight with over 3 million accident free miles. Richard will be remembered as a devoted Husband, Dad, Papa/Poppy, brother, friend and most importantly, Christ follower. His kind heart, quick wit and laugh will be forever missed.

Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Agnes (Davis); four daughters, Sonuia Pirtle, Sandra Finneran,Linda Whittington and Lana (Jeff) Sprague; 6 grandchildren, Shawn, Dawn, Laura, Joshua, Christina, Malinda, Michael, and Alexander; and 4 great grandchildren, Alexis, Jackson, Elizabeth and Cici; his sister, Nellie (Jeff) Shepherd; and numerous family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one brother & sister, and one brother in law.

A memorial celebration will be held Saturday December 15, 2018 at Fairfield West Baptist Church-5345 Muskopf Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Visitation will be 10-11:30 a.m. Celebration Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Richard will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park & Mausoleum.
