Candess Marie "Puddin Pop" Northcutt age 2 years 6 months of Dry Ridge, passed away on Sunday January 29, 2012 at Childrens Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.
Candess was a joy and a blessing to everyone who knew her. She was a fighter from the first moment that she entered this world weighing 2 lbs 4 oz. It has been said that she entered this world with a round trip ticket to Heaven and she decided to cash that in on Sunday for a much better life with no more surgeries or needles. Her baby blue eyes caught your attention and then she had you hooked by her smile and laughter that would melt anyones heart that she came in contact with. Her first word was "mom". She became such a chatter box after her cleft palate and lip repair, especially at midnight. She loved being read to, watching her sister being goofy, going for walks in the neighborhood, and going for car rides. She could not sleep without her Mr. Boots and Baby. She had a way of feeling secure by stuffing her baby behind her shoulder to sleep. She could be in a bad mood and when her sister came into sight or she heard her voice she would start laughing and want to play. She was a member of the First Church of Christ, Burlington, KY. Her passing has been like a light has been blown out.
Candess is survived by her parents, James G. and Pattie J. Northcutt; sister, Jaclyne P. Northcutt; her Nana, Beulah "Peggy" S. James of Dry Ridge, KY; Grandpa, James C. Northcutt of Destin, FL; Grandma, Rose Mary Williams of Dry Ridge, KY. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and caregivers that loved her.
