Genevieve M. "Genny" (nee Czaika), age 88, passed away September 21, 2011at Mercy Fairfield. Genny was born in Hamilton on June 16, 1923 to the late Edward Joseph Czaika and Ida B. (nee Gregg) She was the beloved wife of the late William R. "Bob" Leak; devoted mother of Robert (Roberta) Leak of Darrtown, George (Linda) Leak of Hamilton, Patricia (Gary) Thomas of Hamilton, and Carol (Kenneth) Reiner of Bonita Springs, FL.; nine grandchildren, Roxanne, Tammy, Chrissy, Thomas, and Terrance (Christine) Leak, Marty Baker, Julie (Bob) Massong, Lance (Renee') Bruce, and Angie (Darren) Ling; and thirteen great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three sisters, Hazel Smith, Elenora Tatum, and Marilyn Harp; one brother, Harold Mansar.
Genny enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, planting flowers and working in her yard. She also had wonderful friends in her neighborhood that she cared for very much.
Funeral services will be Monday September 26, 2011 at 2 p.m. at The Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be given at www.avancefuneralhome.com
