Jack “Dave”, age 59, of Fairfield passed away on March 3, 2016. He was born on August 3, 1956 in Middletown, OH to Lee and Ruth Bennett. He is the beloved husband of Bob Burgin with whom he had a 20 year relationship and they celebrated their marriage in 2015. Dave is also survived by his sister , Ruthann (Doug) Goodpastor; son, Jason Taylor; father in law, Wilbur Burgin;niece, Kristin Sarantakos; nephews, Nicholas Vlattas and Christopher Bush; great niece, Megan Dove; sister in law, Barbara (Nick) Vlattas; brother in law, Bill Burgin; and 2 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Connie Parshall; and mother in law, Pat Burgin. Dave owned Pampered Pets in Fairfield for 40 years. Dave and Bob were passionate about rescuing and placing animals in their furever homes. Visitation will be Tuesday March 8, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014.
