Olga (Watkins) Gmoser

May 13, 1939 — May 10, 2014

Olga Gmoser, age 74, died peacefully on May 10, 2014 with her loving husband, sister, and family at her side at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born at home in London, KY. Olga graduated from Seven Mile High School and became an executive secretary for the leadership of Ohio Casualty in Hamilton, OH. Her proficiency was recognized by the Butler County, Ohio Common Pleas Court judges and she became one of their court stenographers (court reporter) where she met and married, attorney Mike Gmoser, her partner in love and later in law, and had one son, Jason Gmoser. She went on to attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio graduating in 1977, and later went to the University of Dayton Law School graduating in May, 1992. Olga was admitted to the practice of law in November, 1992, and practiced law with her husband for nearly a decade before retiring. After Olga’s retirement, she travelled the world with her sister, niece and friends which gave her great joy. Although her family and extended family always came first, she also enjoyed home decorating, which she did with amazing skill and artistry. Olga leaves to her memory her husband, Mike Gmoser; son, Jason Gmoser of Ross, OH; sister, Patricia Watkins of Berea, KY; brother, George (Buzz) Watkins of London, KY; niece, Amanda Miller of Frenchburg, KY; nephew, Adam Miller, of Richmond, KY; grand nieces, Nadia Miller and Soren Miller both of Richmond, KY; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins that she held in her heart each and every day. Her husband wishes to thank the care given by Dr. Arthur Richards and his staff; the nursing and medical staff of Mercy Hospital Fairfield; Ralph Carruthers Family Care Unit; and Hospice of Hamilton for the care and comfort provided to Olga in her time of greatest need. She requested that no services be held. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave. Hamilton, OH 45013.
