Agnes Marie Carr

Age 80 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. She was born May 28, 1926 in Butler Co., the daughter of Raymond and Ethel (Pugh) Lee. On June 1, 1944 Agnus married Lewis D. Carr, her devoted husband until his death in 1996. She worked at Ft. Hamilton Hospital for 29 years until her retirement in 2001.

She is survived by sister-in-law, Mildred (Orville) Blackmore; brothers-in-law, George (Imogene) Carr, Wayne (Ruth) Carr, Gene (Laverne) Carr and Ira (Irene) Carr; a host of nieces and nephews; 2 special nieces, Mary Hardwick and Suzy Rosenberger; 2 wonderful friends, Wanda Crawford and Laverne Badin; granddaughter, Terri Kay Mountjoy; and great-grandaughters, Martina and Natasha Mountjoy. Agnus was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joyce Ann Riley; and a special sister-in-law, Doris Ann Carr.

The family would like to thank the staff at Schroder Manor for all of their love and care.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. - until time of service (10:30 a.m.), Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park.
