RAEBURN, Alexander
Age 88 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born April 22, 1921 in County Line, WI, the son of Alexander and Isabel (Simpson) Raeburn. On June 22, 1946 Alexander married Gladys Skaggs in Terryville, KY. She preceded him in death on May 16, 1999. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. Other memberships include: Senior Citizens Bowling League at Linden Lanes and Valley Chapel Church.
Mr. Raeburn leaves behind his daughter, Mary I. Jaynes of Flat Gap, KY; brother, Robert Raeburn of Fairfield; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; 2 sisters; brother; daughter, Linda Louzette Raeburn; and special friend "Ruthie".
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Hamilton. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com
