Alice Grace Langdon, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2004, in Peachtree City, Georgia. She was born December 8, 1912, the daughter of Minnie and Henry Smith of Hamilton, Ohio. She married Nicola Langdon in 1934 and they had one son, Joe Langdon of Peachtree City, Georgia. She lived in Hamilton, Ohio and Fairfield, Ohio until 2001 when she moved to be with her son.
Survivors include her son, Joe (Dawana) Langdon; granddaughter, Kari (Jason) Lumme of Newnan, Georgia; grandson, Jeff (Kelly Copas) Langdon of Nashville, Tennessee. She had four great-grandchildren, Josh & Hannah Lumme, Erin (Nathan) Chapman, and Jenna Langdon. Alice, along with her husband, Nicola, was the owner of Nick's Cafe for 33 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nicola Langdon; sister, Mildred; brother, Calvin Smith.
She was a member of Faith Sunday School Class of First Baptist Church in Peachtree City. Before moving to Peachtree City, she was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ in Fairfield, Ohio.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 20, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will also be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the Funeral Home. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
