APGAR, Anna Marie (nee Craycraft)
Born May 8, 1961 in Portsmouth, VA to Thomas Craycraft and Earlene (nee Lewis) Craycraft, passed away on February 12, 2014 at her home in Hamilton, Ohio. Anna graduated from Taft High School in 1979. She attended Butler Tech and Cincinnati State where she received her LPN and Registered Nurse licenses. Anna dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked as an LPN for Glen Meadows and the Sterling House of Fairfield from 2003-2007 and was the Health and Wellness Director for the Sterling House of Washington Township from 2008-2009. Anna most recently worked as a Registered Nurse for Tri Health in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Anna leaves behind her loving children, Christina Apgar and Richard Apgar; mother, Earlene (Sidney) Baron; brother Robert (Samantha) Craycraft; nieces Marissa Craycraft and Mariah Craycraft; nephew Mason Craycraft; close friends Cheryl Capito and Alynn Greer and numerous friends from the Moose Lodge #36 of Hamilton, Ohio and Murphy’s Pub of Clifton. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Carl Craycraft.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield followed by a service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to: The American Heart Association Cincinnati, 5211 Madison Rd., 45227.
