Anna M. Vaughn

Age 84 of Fairfield, passed away, Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Vitas Hospice - Ft. Hamilton. She was born July 8, 1922 at her home in Hamilton, the daughter of Henry and Anna Marie (Konrad) Renners. On March 3, 1943 she married Roland Vaughn at St. Louis Church in Cincinnati. Anna will always be remembered for her unique sense of humor and her fun loving spirit. She was also a long time member of the Sacred Heart Mission Commission, where she contributed her time and creative energy. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

Anna is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Jim) Korb and Janet (John) Lubbers; grandchildren, Denise Brucchieri, Stephen Korb, Jeanine (Jeff) Gravitt, Pamela Lubbers, David Lubbers, and Randy (April) Lubbers; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Grace Paullus. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Roland Vaughn in 1984; brothers, George, Edwin, and Leroy Renners; and sisters, Catherine Issenmann and Loretta Anderson.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Chris Meier; the staff of the special unit at Berkely Square; and the staff at Vitas Hospice; for all of the compassionate care they gave our mother.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 28, 2007 between 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield followed by Mass of Christian Burial held at 12 noon, at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield with Father Larry Tharp, Celebrant.
