LONG, Anna Frances

It is with both joy and sadness; we announce the passing of Anna Frances Long.  She entered heaven on Friday, February 7th, 2025, at the age of 98.

She is survived by her son, Richard Byron Long Jr (Linda), grandchildren Richard Byron Long III (Andrea), Brennen Lee Long (Tiffany), Jessica Suzanne Rust (Brandon), and her brother Lewis G. Thacker Jr. (Gwen). She was blessed to have ten great grandchildren.  Kaileigh McGuire, Camden Lee Long, Noah William Long, Mariah Reanne Campbell, Braeden Daniel Long, Gavin Bradley Long, Gregory Xavier Jacob Long, Adisyn Alise Long, Sophie Elayna Rust, and Ethan Isaac Rust.  She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Byron Long Sr, her daughter Barbara Ann Rowland, her granddaughter Melissa Ann Rowland, her parents Lewis Golden Sr. and Mary Eddie Thacker, and her sisters Katherine Louise Eaton, Edith May Huddleston, and Mary Pauline Deatrick.  Frances was a member of North Fairfield Baptist Church. She will be missed beyond measure, but we take comfort in knowing she is in the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service (11:30 a.m.), Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014 with Pastors Mark Wilson and Matthew McKay officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Oak Hill Cemetery in Glendale.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the North Fairfield Baptist Church, 6853 Gilmore Rd., Fairfield Township, OH   45011.
