Anthony "Tony" Holtzapple

Anthony “Tony “ Holtzapple, 68, of Fairfield, OH, passed away peacefully following a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1955 in York, PA. Tony is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dianne; his daughter, Johanna (Jeff Deuter); his son, Tony, Jr. and many family members and treasured friends. Tony proudly served in the U.S. Army forming a lifelong bond with many of the guys from his HAWK Radar unit.  He also stayed connected to his hometown by being very active with his high school classmates group from Dover, PA.  Tony had a simple approach to life.  He loved his family and he loved his friends and he really loved fishing at Norris Lake. He will be missed by many across the country. Per his wishes, services will be private.  If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League, P.O.
