Arnold James Rose
January 13, 1919 — December 30, 2005
Arnold James Rose, age 86 of Fairfield Township passed away Friday, December 30, 2005 at Vitas Hospice-Ft. Hamilton. He was born in Williamsburg, KY on January 13, 1919, the son of Henry and Emily (Rains) Rose. In 1936 he married Hazel H. Hull, who later preceded him in death in 1998. Arnold worked for the State of Ohio for 32 years and was a member of West Chester Presbyterian Church. He served his country during WWII in the United States Marine Corps. Arnold was a member of the Carthage Lodge No.573 F.&A.M. and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati.
He is survived by his three sons, Fred Rose of Milford, Frank (Marilyn) of Fairfield, and John (Faye) Rose of Fairfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of Masonic and Funeral services (12 noon), Tuesday January 3, 2006 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. The family will accept condolences at www.avancefuneralhome.com.
