Astrid (Strom) Vining

VINING
Astrid Strom, age 100, formerly of Forest Park, OH passed away on Thursday November 10, 2016 at Mercy Fairfield. She was born on July 5, 1916 in Chicago, IL to the late August R. and Emma (nee Thorsberg) Strom.
In 1945 she married Carl Vining; he preceded her in death on August 7, 2014. Astrid was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenhills.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Cynthia) Vining and Holly (Michael) Johnson; her grandchildren, Rex Vining, Jonathan (Jen) Owens, Morgan Davis, Alec Johnson, Carly Johnson, Grace Johnson; great grandchild, Kage Davis; sister in law, Elizabeth McCarthy. Astrid is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Allen Strom.
Graveside services will be Tuesday November 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd., Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
