Authalia "Tommie" Lee (Thomas) Smith

SMITH

Authalia “Tommie” (nee Thomas) – age 85 of Fairfield passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton.  She was born September 20, 1929 in Hamilton to the late Jason and Onna Lee Thomas (nee Winkler).  On April 9, 1949 in Hamilton she married her husband, Mr. William J. Smith, who preceded her in death on November 30, 1991.  Tommie and her husband were founding members of Rolling Hills Baptist Church of Fairfield and she was a 20 year volunteer at Mercy Hospital.

She is survived by her daught er Sherry (Jim) Ullman; her grandchildren Jason (Kristina) Begley,  Nickie (Matt) Bradley, Ben Ullman, Cara Link, Sarah (Jason) Tullo, Bobby (Laura) Ullman and 12 great grandchildren; son-in-law Kevin Smith; also survived by numerous family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Christi Smith.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 4-6PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014. Funeral service will be Monday morning at 10:30AM at the funeral home.   Burial immediately following at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.avancefuneralhome.com
