Barbara (Nee Goldsmith) B. Rice

Barbara Brunette (nee Goldsmith) Rice, widow of the late William "Bill" Rice; devoted mother of Doreen and Robbert (Sandy); grandmother of Jeffrey, Walter, Joe and Amanda; great-grandmother of Jeffy, Jr.; cherished sister of Ken (Carolyn) Leonard; beloved aunt to Deborah (Jerry) Honigberg, Stephen (Deena) Leonard, Linda Leonard, Heather (Gene) LoProto, the late Allan Rice, Jill (Craig) Kowitt, Marla (Mario) Braun, Stacey (nee Rice) Hatzman; great-aunt to many; lifelong friend of Julia Weiss Tanet and family; 1956 graduate of Mt. Sinai Nursing School; former Air Force Officer; passed away Saturday December 3, 2005. Barbara dedicated her life to her family, friends and patients. Anyone who was privileged enough to know her, understood how large her heart and how beautiful her soul is.
