Bennett Hoskinds

HOSKINDS Arthur “Bennett”, age 82, of Liberty Township passed away on April 17, 2014 after a long illness. He was a plumber and a plumbing inspector for the Hamilton County Health Department. Bennett also served in the Navy as a Seabee. A faithful christian, Bennett was introduced to God by his wife, he is a member of the Evendale Church of Christ. He was born in Burlington, KY to Raymond and Mae Katherine Hoskinds. Arthur is the beloved husband of 59 years to Joyce (nee Royalty); loving father of Dendi Stratton and Diana (Robert) Goodman; dear grandfather of Raquel Stratton, Josh (Becci) Brockman, Nicholas (Alissa) Goodman, and Jared Goodman; great grandfather of Kaylee and Josiah. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Margie) Hoskinds; half siblings, Clara Hames, Carol Thacker, Danny Hoskinds, Ricky Hoskinds, Patricia Loggains, David Hoskinds, Marvin Hoskinds, Timothy Hoskinds, Janet McLemore, Jeffery Hoskinds, Rodney Hoskinds, and Anita Love; many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Alvena Mason, Chester Hoskinds, Ethelda Schmalz, Ray Allen Hoskinds, Libby Ferguson; half siblings Phyllis Shotts and Terry Gene; step sister, Cis Kathman; and brother in law, Roy Royalty. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd. Mt. Healthy, OH 45231.
