Bernice age 79, passed away on October 31, 2011, at Fairfield Pavilion. She is the beloved mother of David (Cheryl) Harper, Debi (Cornel) Escobar, and Detra (Jack) Matthews; loving grandmother of Skye Barnes, Heath, Cody, Seth, Jesse, Hannah, and Laura Harper, JP and Alex Matthews; great grandmother of Preston. Also survived by her brother Drexel Winsted; sisters, Wanda Sipple, Betty Reister, and Tincy Matheny.
Preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne, Ed and Fred Winsted.
Bernice is a member of the East River Rd. Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She retired from General Electric after many years of employment.
