Betty Louise Wallace passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025, in Fairfield, Ohio, at the age of 89. She was born on August 6, 1935, in Glendale, Arkansas. Betty had a deep love for gospel music and found great joy in listening to her favorite song, "The Old Rugged Cross," as well as the music of The Gaither Band and Vince Gill. Her faith was central to her life, and she expressed it through her many contributions to her church community. She taught Sunday school for many years and authored three prayer books that inspired countless readers. An avid traveler, Betty cherished the adventures she shared with her late husband, Robert Stanley Wallace. Together they explored the United States and ventured abroad to places like Israel and Europe. At home, she enjoyed sewing and writing, hobbies that reflected her creativity and devotion to family and faith. Betty is lovingly remembered by her daughter Sarah Martin; her son David Leonard; grandchildren Mac Reynolds, Erin Killian, Ruth Huff (Myke), Jennifer Martin, and Robert Martin; and great-grandchildren Kaedyn Davenport and Abigail Huff. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Robert Stanley Wallace, her daughter Debra Reynolds, and other cherished family members. A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m., on January 23, 2025. Services will take place at Avance Funeral Home in Fairfield, Ohio, honoring Betty’s life of faith and love.
