Beverly Ann Callahan was born August 23rd, 1950, to Robert and Jacqueline (Sadler) Kolodzik in Hamilton, Ohio. She passed away on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026. She is survived by her husband, James Dennis Callahan II, and daughter Amanda (Brandon) Feltner. She is also survived by her grandsons Zachary (Glenda) Feltner, Brady Feltner and Ryon (Emma Montgomery) Hensley, a great-grandson Zavier Feltner, her sisters-in-law Jan (John) Wilcox and Kathea Lykins and their families, as well as her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Charlie Hensley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Wallace, her mother-in-law Hilda Callahan, her dogs Gracie and Murphy Callahan, her cat Buddy, and grandpups Eddie and Sammy Hensley.
Bev was an avid animal lover, taking care of many animals in her life, starting with her basset hound Sugar, dogs Gracie and Murphy, cats Buddy, Gordon Andrew, and Dillon (to name a few). She loved her grandpups, Eddie and Sammy, and Harley, Sugar, and Rosie. She was immensely proud of her family and would tell everyone about the amazing things they accomplished.
Bev worked for First Financial Bank for 28 years in mortgage servicing, and she was so very good at what she did. Her organizational skills can still be found throughout her house, as all of her things were always in order and kept together with her famous gigantic rubber bands.
After retirement, Bev and Denny enjoyed gardening and taking care of their animals. Bev also loved lunch dates with her daughter and visiting her house. Bev had a very special bond with her grandson Ryon and was over-the-moon excited when he shared with her the ring he got for his (now) fiancée Emma.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, starting at 1:00 pm, at Hill Heritage Farm and ShayDay Fiber Arts, 1992 Jessie Dr., Hamilton, Ohio 45013, where Bev loved to spend time with the animals and enjoy the peacefulness of being in nature.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Alois Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center in Greenhills, Ohio, for taking such wonderful care of Bev during this time of need. Their care, love, and support has been a blessing, and we cannot thank them enough.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alois Alzheimer’s and Dementia Center, 70 Damon Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45218, and Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Rd , Hamilton Ohio 45011.
