Bonnie Ruth Lanier

Bonnie Ruth Phillips Lanier, 69, of Fairfield, Ohio, born May 17, 1936 in Red House, WV to Jesse & Blanche Noffsinger Phillips, departed this life June 22, 2005 at home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse; brothers, James "Jim" and Bill Phillips; father-in-law Wallace Lanier, Sr.

Bonnie worked at Fairfield City School for 21 years as a secretary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She will also be missed by a host of friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Wallace "Mac" Lanier, Jr.; son, Wallace "Mac" III and wife Debbie of Olathe, KS; granddaughters, Alicia & Jeff Brown, Amanda Hilsup and Melinda Lanier, all of Olathe, KS; mother, Blanche Phillips; sister, June Higginbotham; sister-in-law, Reba Phillips, all of Nitro, WV; sister-in-law, Pat Phillips of Hamilton, OH; mother-in-law, Macy Lanier; brother-in-law & wife, Charles & Naomi Lanier of Pt. Pleasant, WF; one aunt and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, with Rev. Willard Baker officiating. Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2005 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, and also Saturday at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
