Brandon Mitchell

March 20, 1987 — August 13, 2004

Brandon P. Mitchell, age 17, beloved and devoted son of Kimberly (Mitchell) Hilliard and Jamie Hilliard, of Fairfield, was called to Heaven August 13, 2004 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born March 20, 1987 in Hamilton.

A student of Fairfield Senior High School, Brandon was a breath of fresh air to all who knew him. He was loved by many, and his outgoing, caring personality drew many people around him. A love for music, movies, and friends made Brandon the typical teenager to the unknowing eye, but to his family and friends who knew and loved him, he was so much more. Brandon's compassion and devotion to the people he loved was like no other. He was good. A good friend, A good teenager - A good son.

Brandon's relationship with his mother was truly admired and respected. The love the two shared was an awesome love. His wit, humor and zest for life will be greatly missed, yet celebrated by all who knew and loved him. As the oldest sibling in the family, Brandon was a hero and a mentor to his brothers and sisters - A true big brother.

He is survived by a wonderful mother and father, Kimberly (Mitchell) Hilliard and Jamie Hilliard. Brandon was a devoted brother of Andrew Mitchell, Timothy Gregory, Samantha Gregory and caring step-brother to Michael, Jessica, and Tyler Hilliard; cherished grandson of Janet Mitchell and Robert and Bonnie Mitchell; loving nephew of Gregory and Amy Mitchell, John and Tammy Hilliard; family to Carmen and Kevin Smith; and a special friend of Aunt Nichol Mitchell. Brandon is also survived by cousins who were so close to him - Joseph and Joshua Mitchell, Ronnie and Kaylyn Baker, Jamie, Aaron, Corey and Mariah Graves and Ashley and Justin Smith; his girlfriend Alex, whom he cared for so deeply; and many other relatives and friends whom all loved, cared for, and were so very blessed to have known Brandon P. Mitchell.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the employees at the Butler County Sheriff's Department and the City of Fairfield Police Department.
