Cameron Lee Smoot

Cameron Lee Smoot, age 24, of Mason, Ohio tragically passed away on Saturday August 30, 2025.

Cameron was born on March 24, 2001, in Fairfield, Ohio. He graduated from Mason High School in 2019.

Cameron is survived by his parents, Alison Smoot and Kevin Plavsic; sisters, Jade Lucas, Ashley (Nick) Riga, Madison Plavsic, Isabella Plavsic; aunts, Sue Litman-Hall (Chris), Angela (Jim) Pfaffinger, Linda Fite; nieces, Liliana Schwallie, Marley Riga, Thea Riga; nephews, Landen and Layton McAdams, George Carter, Jr.; cousins, Jackson Litman, Brayden Hall, Ethan Pfaffinger, Heather West, Kelsey Guenther; grandmothers, Brenda Smoot and Darlene Plavsic; and many other family members and close friends.

Cameron was preceded in death by his grandfather, French Smoot; great grandfather, Don Schnurr; and his uncle, Greg Plavsic.

Honoring his generous wish, the gift of life was shared with many people in need through organ and tissue donation.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 4601 Fairfield Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.
