Carl Copley

Carl Copley, age 71 of West Chester passed away Wednesday May 4, 2005 at Bethesda North Hospital. He was born December 26, 1933 in Cassie, WV, the son of Elmer and Myrtle (Romans) Copley. On May 12, 1955 he married Patsie Anderson in Omar, WV. Carl was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a member of the VFW and Am vets. He worked in General Maintenance in Manufacturing for JW Harris in Blue Ash.
He is survived by: his wife, Patsie Copley of West Chester; sons, Gregory (Jennifer) Copley of Mason, Michael (Julia) Copley of Lafayette, IN, and Paul (Linda) Copley of Kent, OH; daughter Marsha (Steve) Lansell of Morrow; brothers Alfred (Angie) of Abingdon, VA, Bob (Phyllis) of Bristol, TN, Danny (Marty) of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters, Buelah Bias of Cleveland, OH, Helen (Jim) Riffe of Rockville, IN, Lois (John) Kroll of Indianapolis, IN and Elfredia (Norman) Leckie of Dandridge, TN; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Carl was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday May 7, 2005 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. The family will also receive friends Saturday from 2 p.m. - until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to charity of one's choice.
