Carl Lancaster
June 2, 1932 — February 17, 2009
Age 76 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born June 2, 1932 in Hamilton the son of Carl and Alma Marie (Kaiser) Lancaster. Sonny was a Veteran of the US Air Force, serving in the Korean Conflict and worked for Beckett Papers until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Kentucky Colonels.
Sonny leaves behind his sister, Sandra (Greg) Stenger; nephews, Scott, Jeffrey and Steven Smith; nieces Karla Avance and Karen Kaiser-Eifert; and great nieces and nephews, Darian, Kaiya, Kaden, Isabella, Samson, Bryan, Stefanie, Valerie, and Jack, III. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John W. Kaiser.
The family would like to thank Father Larry Tharp and the staff at Hospice of Hamilton for their care and support.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 23, 2009 at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd. with Fr. Larry Tharp, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:15-10:15 a.m., Monday at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hamilton.
