MUMPHREY, Carl J.
Age 59, of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 at his home. He was born April 20, 1947 in New Orleans, the son of the late Dominick and Doris (Hebert) Mumphrey. On November 23, 1974 he was united in marriage to Gloria Gadmer.
Carl served his country through the U.S. Army. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a retiree from Delta Airlines where he worked in Customer Service. Carl also enjoyed working part time at Walden Ponds Golf Course and had a passion for playing the game.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Gloria Mumphrey; brothers, Timothy and D.J. Mumphrey and sisters, Valerie Adams and Lorraine and Sylvia Mumphrey.
Memorial Mass will be Friday, December 29, 2006, 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield with Father Larry Tharp as Celebrant.
