Carrie B. Napier

October 24, 1921 — November 9, 2007

Age 86 of Fairfield went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 9, 2007 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born October 24, 1921 in Harlan Co., KY, the daughter of Oscar and Alice (Fuson) Ford. On May 2, 1936 she married Grover C. Napier. Carrie was a member of the Fairfield Church of God where she taught Junior Girls Sunday school class. She also enjoyed sewing, baking cakes for her Church and preparing for the Christmas Holiday.

Carrie is survived by her son, Delmar (Maisie) Napier; brother, Rev. Thurman Henry (Maytha) Ford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 6 sisters, Victoria, Doxie, Eva, Willard, Bera and Veronica; and brothers, Kenneth, Ansel and Beckel.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to: Heartland at Woodridge Rehab; Hospice of Cincinnati; Hospice of Hamilton at Sunrise; nieces, Carol Hobson, Myra Brown, Kay Gibson and Vickie Hazelwood ; John and Juanita Cobb; Tom and Judy Covert; Peggy Haas; and Barbara Carr, who faithfully took her to church.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of service (1 p.m.), Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Daryl McCoy of Fairfield Church of God and Rev. Elizabeth Amburgy, former Pastor officiating.

11 a.m. - until time of service, Wed., Nov. 14, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory.
