Catherine R. Pizzano, age 80 of Fairfield, OH passed away Monday May 16, 2005 at the Fairfield Pavilion. She was born May 30, 1924 in Orange, NJ, the daughter of Pasquale and Serafina (Puccio) Torregrossa. On September 21, 1947 she married Arthur E. Pizzano, Sr. in East Orange, NJ. Catherine enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arthur E., Jr. and Sandra C. Pizzano of Fairfield, OH; and daughter, Carol Verderese of Clifton, NJ; and grandchildren, Christine and Andrew Pizzano, and Karen and Joseph Verderese. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Josephina Cappadonna and Mary Imparato.
Visitation, Funeral and Entombment services will take place with Bizub-Quinlin Funeral Home 1313 Van Houten, Clifton, NJ 07013. A memorial service will be 3 p.m., Thursday May 26, 2005 at the Fairfield Pavilion, 5251 Dixie Hwy., Fairfield, OH 45014. The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd., Cinti, OH 45242. The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, of Fairfield is in charge of local arrangements.
