Age 61 of Fairfield Twp., passed away, Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born November 22, 1945 in Harlan, KY the son of Homer and ImaJean (Teeters) Bumgardner. Cecil was a 1963 Fairfield High School graduate and was employed as a driver salesman for Hamilton Distributors.
He is survived by his children, Lance (Becky) Bumgardner, Slade (Tanya) Bumgardner, Bill (Priscilla) Johnson, Tony Johnson, and Kami Bumgardner; brother, James E. Bumgardner; sister, Eva (Mike) Viars; grandchildren, Von Bumgardner, Samantha Bumgardner, Story Bumgardner, Patricia Johnson, William Johnson, and Noah Johnson; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Bumgardner, Patricia Jean Bumgardner, David Viars, Susan Jean Viars, and Chase Viars; great-niece, Corina Viars; and great-newphew, Michael David Viars. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew Michael Homer Viars.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. - until time of service (7 p.m.), Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating.
