Cecilia Welage

Cecilia Welage, age 91, of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield on Friday March 12, 2004. She was born February 28, 1913 in Maysville, KY, the daughter of William and Sophia (Johnson) Fulton. She married Edwin George Welage who preceded her in death on April 13, 1992. She worked at Leshner Coporation as a Customer Service Representative and as a secretary for Klug, until closing. Cecilia was a devoted member of the Fairfield Church of Christ and the Keystones. She was also a member of ABWA, where she had 35 years of perfect attendance.

She is survived by her daughter, Gayle Cooper of Middlebourne, WV; 2 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; 1 grandson; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday March 16, 2004 at the Fairfield Church of Christ, 745 Symmes Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will also be Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. - until time of service at the church. The Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield is serving the family.
