Charles Henry "Charlie", age 98 passed away at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder Manor on Friday, December 2, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Ellen (nee Gluhm); dear father of Michael (Susan) Johnson and Mary Ellen (Gary) Smith; loving grandfather of Kevin (Renee) Willis, Benjamin (Jennifer) Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Catherine (Danny) Russo, and Nicholas (Amy) Smith; devoted great grandfather of Andrew, Emilee and Madison.
Charlie was a pipefitter with Champion Paper until his retirement in 1976.
The family would like to thank Charlie's extended family at Schroder Manor for their love and companionship over the years.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 9 a.m. Mercy Franciscan at Schroder Manor Chapel, 1302 Millville Ave., Hamilton, OH 45013.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Charlie's name may be given to Mercy Franciscan at Schroder Manor.
