Charles E. Ratliff
September 29, 1930 — March 11, 2009
Age 78 of Fairfield passed away, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. He was born September 29, 1930 in Hamilton, the son of Russell Ratliff and Viola Dillard. On September 13, 1952 Charlie married Esther Brasch. He worked for Champion International Papers and was a Veteran of the US Air Force.
Charlie leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Esther Ratliff; children, Pam (Rick) Ratliff, Chuck Ratliff, Patty (Bruce) Jones, Penny Gilliam and daughter-in-law, Becky Ratliff; grandchildren, Tracy (James) Jones, Kim (Jason) Murphy, Michelle (Chris) Dowers, Josh (Erin) Ratliff, Brooke Ratliff, Devyn (Drew) Griesser and Lauren Jones; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. - until time of service (11 a.m.), Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
