Charles "Tommy" Thompson

THOMPSON, Charles L. “Tommy”, 85 of Seminole, FL formerly of the Hamilton-Fairfield, OH area died Aug. 16, 2014. Tommy was born in Mellott, Indiana.  Tommy retired from the US Navy after 20 years. Most recently he worked for Bullock Garage Builders, Fairfield, OH. He was a perpetual member of Star Lodge 78, F&AM, Largo, serving as secretary for many years.  He was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #1069, Fairfield, OH. Tommy is survived by his wife, Rose Mary of 54 years; son, Clifford L (Karen) Thompson; daughter, Chris L. (Chuck) Zaeh; grandchildren, Connor L. Thompson and Kaitlin L Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents Maurice E. and Ruth R. Thompson and sister Charlotte Litzelman.  Memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwwater, FL. 33760.  Visitation will be 10 a.m. – until time of service (12 Noon), Monday August 25, 2014 at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, Fairfield, OH with Jack Young officiating.
