Charles C. age 97, passed away on September 15, 2011.

He was born in Manhattan, Kansas on July 12, 1914. He is the beloved husband of Kathryn (nee Kinney) who passed away on September 15, 2000. He is survived by his children, C. Roger (Margaret) Tillotson of Garden City, NY, and his daughter Tana (Don) Buschmiller of Byrdstown, TN; 3 grandchildren, Kimberly (Christopher) Anderson, Tamara (T.J.) Shimaitis, and Dr. Roger (Debra) Tillotson; 6 great grandchildren, William Anderson, Tommy, Teddy, and Maggie Shimaitis, Ella and Lucy Tillotson. He is also survived by Kathryn's children, Gary (Katrina) Kinney of Hamilton and Margo (Homer) Hinkle of Byrdstown TN; their children and grandchildren of Fairfield and Hamilton.

Preceded in death by his wife; his parents Charles and Leona (Hammock) Tillotson; and two sisters.

He graduated from Kansas State University in 1937 with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked for 35 years at Procter and Gamble until he retired in 1972. Charles served in the Army during WWII in Africa, Italy and France from 1941-1946 and was honorably discharged as a Lt. Colonel.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff and residents of Westover for the years of care and friendship; also to his devoted caregivers at Colonial at Home. The family would also like to thank Nancy Follmer for her dedication and friendship to Charles.
