Charles "Chuck" Barrett Jr.

BARRETT Charles “Chuck” Jr.  – age 72 of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021.  He was born March 27, 1948 to Jeanette (Brockman) and Charles Barrett Sr. in Hamilton, Ohio. Chuck retired from the Butler County Sheriff’s department in 2003.  He began his law enforcement career as a Deputy in 1993, eventually being promoted to Commander in 2000.  He retired from the department in 2003.  He is survived by his wife, Betty (Martin) Barrett, his sons Mark (Carmella) Slatton and Chase (Katie) Barrett and his daughters Rheagan (Anthony) Sargent and Audri (Shane) Santel;  grandchildren Lilyanah, Roman, Chloe, Bryson, Kyle, Justin, Alexa and great grandchildren Riley, Roman and Isabelle;  sister  Charlotte (David) Simons and his devoted cousin, Mike Brockman; also survived by numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Monday, January 18, 2021 from 4 - 7 P.M. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield, Ohio 45014.  Funeral service to begin at 7 P.M. with David Hargrave officiating.   Memorial contributions may be sent to Shriners Hospital for Children Burn Care Center.
