Charles "Ronnie" Ronald Marcotte Iii

Charles “Ronnie” Ronald Marcotte III, age 80, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio, September 2, 2022.  He had a great last weekend visiting with family and friends.  He worked doing what he loved and had breakfast with his regular buddies.  “Ronnie” was born December 26, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles Ronald Marcotte Jr. and Julia Joering Marcotte.  He was the oldest of three sons and loved by his brothers Phillip and Paul Marcotte.  He enjoyed working, fishing, being outside, attending his grandkids’ sporting events and being around his family and friends.  He was also in the National Guard – 1ST Battalion / 147th Infantry Company B.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon (Lester) Marcotte; children Christopher Marcotte, Shawn (Sharon) Marcotte and Kathleen (Joey) Nusbaum; grandchildren Chelsea, Raelynn, Sage, Kadeen, Alexandria, Isabella, Emma, Chance, Riley, Michael, Nick and Mikayla; also survived by his brother Phillip (Maryanne) Marcotte, numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.  A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 5 – 6:30 PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014.  Memorial contributions may be sent to The Joe Nuxhall Miracle League.  Online condolences may be left for the family by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
