Cheryl Ann Sturgill, age 64, of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully in hospice care on October 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 7, 1962, in Hamilton, Ohio, Cheryl was a graduate of Cincinnati Christian School. She will be remembered as a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Above all else, Cheryl’s greatest joy in life was her family. Her cherished grandbabies brought immeasurable light, laughter, and happiness into her world. The love she had for her family was a meaningful part of her life, and the memories they shared will continue to be treasured for years to come. Though her family is heartbroken by her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Cheryl is no longer suffering and is at peace. Her life and memory will live on through the family she loved so dearly and the many lives she touched along the way. Cheryl was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ida and Charlie Balsinger and Mary and Eldon Phillips. She leaves behind her loving parents, Gerald and Barbara Phillips; her daughters, Courtney (Chad) Grover and Caitlin Campbell; her sisters, Beverly (Dennis) Pinnell and Shirley (Joe) Taylor; and her adored grandchildren, Nikki Grover, Derek Campbell Jr., and Jasmine Sturgill. She is also survived by her nieces, Amanda Rattliff, Hannah Little, Madison Owensby, and Mackenzie Corley; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply. Though Cheryl’s time on earth has come to an end, the love she gave and the memories she leaves behind will never fade. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life. Visitation will be on Wednesday October 28, 2026, from 5:30pm – 7:30pm at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral Service will be on Thursday October 29, 2026, at 11:00am at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd.
