Christine L. Baecker

  Christine Louise Baecker was born December 23, 1944 and passed from this life April 1, 2014.  Christine was the daughter of Frederick P. Baecker and Norma M. Johnson Baecker Moore.  Chris is survived by a sister Marlene K. Baecker of Hamilton; sister-in-law Jeannie (Dale) Baecker of Pasadena, CA.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews Melanie (Robert) Ruggles and Bill (Paula) Brown both of Seattle WA, Greg (Martha) Brown of El Mirage AZ, Leah (Jim) Clark of Dayton OH, Keith Baecker of Columbus OH, Lisa Clevenger of Vancouver WA, Andrea (George) Liera of Fontana CA, Kimberly (Chris) Henry and Stephen Baecker of Pasadena CA; also surviving uncles Warren and Harold Baecker and Aunt Naomi Parker of Sierra Madre CA;  Chris had numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  Chris graduated from Talawanda High School in 1962 and became a flight attendant at United Airlines for 30 years.  She enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, painting and traveling with her best friend, Irene Young and others.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her  grandparents Ella and George Baecker and Harry and Ola Mae Johnson and brothers  Ronald and Dale Baecker.  Services will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 4411 Smokey Alston Hwy, Darrtown OH at 1030AM Friday April 4, 2014 with burial to follow at a later date  at Darrtown Cemetery.  Pastor Jim O’Brien of the Church of God Cincinnati will officiate, with a luncheon to follow at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Ave, Hamilton OH 45013.      www.avancefuneralhome.com
