Christine A (Andres) Engler

Christine A. Engler “Chris”, age 79, of Fairfield died January 6, 2015. She was born July 24, 1935 in Middletown to Harry and Carolyn Andres. Chris graduated from Fenwick High School in 1953 and attended the College of Mount St. Joseph. She married John “Jack” Engler July 6, 1957 in Middletown. Chris was employed as bookkeeper for Universal Homebuilders and J-II Homes for 25 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Treasurer of the Sterling Silvers. Chris is survived by her children, Cindy (Larry) Brown and Greg Engler; grandchildren, Emily (Michael) Ippolito , Blake (Jeremy)Garrett, Amanda (Nick) Clason, and Austin Asher; and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Chris was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Catherine Andres; brothers, Robert, Charles, Louis, Anthony Andres. Visitation will be Tuesday January 13, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 am, with Reverend Larry Tharp officiating.
