Christopher Patrick Scott, 44, passed away on Friday April 10, 2026, in Fairfield, Ohio.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Chris lived a life full of compassion, purpose, and connection. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies, reflecting both his intellectual interests and his desire to understand and connect with the world beyond his own.
Chris had a true passion for politics and worked as a canvasser, always advocating for others and giving a voice to those who needed it most. He believed in showing up, speaking out, and doing what he could to make things better. That same spirit carried into his volunteer work, teaching English, helping at animal shelters, and traveling to the Dominican Republic to help build homes.
To know Chris was to know someone with a big heart, a quick smile, and a love for life’s simple joys. He loved music and could often be found at festivals, soaking it all in. He cherished time at the beach, rooting for the Cincinnati Reds, and sharing a good beer with friends. He had a way of making people feel welcome, heard, and valued, and he leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, kindness, and warmth.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robin Randolph; his grandmother, Mary Brace Randolph; and his mother, Connie Scott Carter.
He is survived by his sister, Natalie (Scott) Jenkins, and her husband, Josh Jenkins; and his beloved niece and nephew, Xavier and Delilah, who brought him great pride and joy.
Chris will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Visitation will be on Monday April 27, 2026, from 11:00am until the time of service (12:00pm) at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014.
